Camp Casco

Program Description

Camp Casco provides free overnight and day camp experiences for children and siblings in Massachusetts who are surviving a cancer diagnosis. They currently run a week-long day camp, overnight camp, and sibling retreat. The Ilene Beal Foundation awarded them a $5,000 “get acquainted” grant in 2022.

Camp is a safe and supportive place where no one cares if you look, walk, or talk different. Whether you’re looking to chat with peers about your experience with cancer, or simply exist around other people who aren’t phased by your portacath scar at the waterfront, Camp Casco is a place filled with people who get it.
