The Boston House

Program Description

The Boston House serves as a home away from home for children and their families who are undergoing cancer treatment in the Boston area.

Since 1979, The Boston House has provided its guests with no-cost, convenient accommodations in a home-like setting along a tree-lined street in Brookline, a short distance from Dana Farber’s Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.

The Ilene Beal Foundation has provided funding to the Boston House for the maintenance of their grounds and garden, has been a lead sponsor in their annual golf tournament, and has supported their caregiver support fund, which provides resources directly to families for food, entertainment, and essentials.
